Many people don’t believe in miracles but I do, for everywhere miracles show themselves in all their
radiance. If we welcome them, they have the power to uplift our lives.
Here are some examples of Life's Little
Miracles:
The words “I love you”.
A gentle hug.
The loving bond between a mother and her child, as the child is lovingly held
in her arms.
A baby’s smile as it captures our hearts.
The touch of a child’s tiny fingers as she takes her grandfather’s hand.
A dog enthusiastically expressing his love and devotion for his human family.
The arrival of a card or letter that expresses friendship and caring.
A meal joyously shared among family and friends.
The ability to find laughter at life’s endless ironies and painful twists.
Here are more examples of Life's Little
Miracles:
Receiving an act of generosity from someone who sincerely cared.
A warm smile that touches the hearts of all who receive it.
Witnessing the setting of the sun, as the sky turns a bright orange.
An ancient Redwood Forest, its brown tree trunks thick and wide and its
branches covered in green foliage seemingly soaring as high as the blue sky.
Roses in bloom, with their magnificent scents and with the colors of their
soft pedals being the most glorious of reds, yellows, purples and pinks in
existence, this side of heaven.
A tiny humming bird collecting sweet nectar from the yellow center of a
bright red Camellia flower.
The sound and scent of the ocean as it hurls itself in sea spray upon the
shore.

The melody of a captivating song that plays its golden tones in one’s ears
and in one’s mind.
The greatest ideas ever devised by mankind at one’s fingertips.
The sound of silence in a moment of peace and tranquility.
These are but a few of life’s little miracles that wash
over us like a spring shower on an April day. And they call to us, offering to
uplift our lives, while soothing our souls, asking of us only that we be aware
of them, if but for a few minutes each day.
